Accommodation Manager

Hours: You’ll work five days out of seven on a flexible shift pattern, ensuring round-the-clock coverage across our 24-hour operation.
Join the adventure at Chessington World of Adventures Resort! We’re looking for an Accommodation Manager who can keep the magic alive behind the scenes. From ensuring our hotels sparkle to making every guest feel like royalty, you’ll lead a passionate team and deliver unforgettable stays in the heart of Britain’s wildest theme park.
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accommodation operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all accommodation facilities to brand standards.
Collaborate with resort teams to resolve operational challenges promptly.
Attend operational reviews and contribute to improvement initiatives.
Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional nights.
Lead, coach, and develop a motivated accommodation team.
Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Promote team engagement and create opportunities for professional growth.
Recognise and celebrate team achievements.
Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction metrics, implementing action plans for improvement.
Resolve complaints promptly and effectively, focusing on service recovery.
Work closely with Guest Experience Associates to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and security policies.
Conduct risk assessments and report new risks as appropriate.
Lead incident response and ensure timely reporting of accidents or incidents.
Guest-Centric Approach: Committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, driving accountability and excellence.
Operational Expertise: Strong knowledge of accommodation management, housekeeping, and front office operations.
Analytical Thinking: Skilled in using data to inform decisions and optimise processes.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Continuous Improvement: Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Adaptability: Flexible to changing operational demands and unsocial working hours.
Familiarity with property management systems and hotel booking tools.
Knowledge of health and safety compliance within hospitality environments.
