Are you an experienced warehouse and logistics leader looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Alton Towers Resort is looking for a proactive and highly organised Warehouse & Logistics Manager to oversee the smooth, efficient, and safe movement of goods that keep our magical resort running every day.

Reporting to the Director of Planning and Business Support, you’ll lead our dedicated warehouse team, ensuring our stock, vehicles, and logistics operations are managed to the highest standards across the resort.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Inventory & Stock Management
  • Oversee stock levels across all warehouse locations, ensuring accurate inventory and timely updates.
  • Lead regular stock takes, resolving discrepancies quickly and effectively.
  • Implement strong profit protection measures to reduce loss and waste.
  • Manage warehouse systems and produce regular reports on stock, performance, and operational insights.
  • Order Fulfilment & Logistics Operations
  • Ensure accurate picking, packing, and delivery of goods across the resort.
  • Act as a key liaison with Global Operations and business partners to support wider logistics goals.
  • Oversee maintenance, compliance, and performance of company vehicles, forklifts, and motorised equipment

 

Qualifications & Experience

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone with:

  • Significant experience in warehouse and logistics management, ideally in a large-scale, fast-paced environment (resort, theme park, hospitality, or similar).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
  • A solid understanding of stock control, order fulfilment, logistics systems, and profit protection.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and operational compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • A background in logistics or supply chain management is preferred, along with experience using warehouse management systems.
