As Admissions & River Operations Leader, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding guest experiences and creating a positive, high-performing team environment. You’ll oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the Admissions and River departments, ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and exceptional service standards. Your leadership will inspire the team to achieve sales targets, maintain efficiency, and uphold health and safety practices.

 

This is a fixed term contract to run until November 2026.

 

Job Scope

  • Lead and manage daily operations across Admissions and River departments.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, financial, and operational standards.
  • Drive revenue through effective upselling strategies and guest engagement.
  • Maintain optimal staffing levels within budgetary guidelines.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Act as Duty Supervisor (Alpha 1), taking responsibility for site operations.
  • Manage and develop team performance through coaching and feedback.
  • Lead projects and initiatives to improve guest experience and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional service standards.
  • Enforce health and safety policies and conduct risk assessments.
  • Support HR processes including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Drive sales and revenue growth through proactive team engagement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience supervising teams in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage operations effectively and achieve sales targets.
  • Previous experience in a role with responsibility for health and safety compliance is highly desirable.
  • Calm and composed under pressure with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Strong communicator with a guest-first mindset.
