At Merlin Entertainments, we’re passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for our guests and an amazing place to work for our people. We’re now looking for a Zone Operations Controller to join our Resort Operations team at Alton Towers Resort.

About the Role

As a Zone Operations Controller, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient running of park operations. Acting as a central point of contact, you’ll coordinate operational requests, monitor performance, and support teams across the resort to respond quickly and effectively to incidents and changing conditions.

Reporting to the Operations Control Manager, you’ll help ensure clear communication, accurate reporting, and well-coordinated operational decision-making throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support day-to-day park operations across assigned zones
  • Act as a key communication hub for operational activities and incidents
  • Coordinate operational requests and responses in real time
  • Support the management of incidents, issues, and event statuses
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and operational data
  • Work closely with multiple teams to ensure guest safety and experience remain a top priority
