Order to Cash Associate

Location: The Merlin Hub Basingstoke / Hybrid

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 3 days per week in the Merlin Hub Basingstoke (Chineham), 2 days per week from home

Contract Type: Permanent, salaried

 

 

We are recruiting for an Order to Cash Associate to join our AWESOME Schools & Groups Finance Team!

 

 

In the role of Order to Cash Associate you will look after our Schools & Groups accounts, approving and actioning billing, collections, query resolution, cash allocation and maintaining the ledger with minimal overdue status. As part of the wider O2C team you will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service both for your external customers and internal stakeholders.

 

 

The Order to Cash Associate will maintain cashflow though initiative-taking collections, while monitoring customer payments and adhering to deadlines for the distribution of billing documents, all in accordance with wider month end deadlines.

 

 

As someone with high attention to detail, the Order to Cash Associate will ensure accuracy with all billing documentation, maintaining a positive ledger and a proactive approach to the issuance of billing documentation and building meaningful customer relationships.

 

 

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in the Basingstoke Office (Chineham) and 2 days per week from home. Successful candidates must have appropriate transport arrangements for travel to the Basingstoke office.

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working in a finance / accounts receivable or billing role is preferred
  • This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a financial accounts receivable/billing or credit and collection qualification
  • Skilled in MS Excel is an essential requirement
  • Confident with communicating via telephone and email, and the ability to hold “chasing” conversations professionally and respectfully
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • An excellent team player, with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
