Health and Safety Advisor

We are recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our ROAR-some Health and Safety Team!
As a Health & Safety Advisor at Chessington World of Adventures Resort, you will play a key role in supporting a positive, practical safety culture that enables our teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will provide specialist advice across the Resort, helping managers, team leaders and employees keep safety simple, relevant and effective.
The Health and Safety Advisor will work closely with resort managers from all departments to identify training needs, develop the Resort’s training schedule and deliver engaging, interactive Health and Safety sessions. You will also support the accident, incident and near‑miss reporting process, ensuring that investigations are thorough and appropriately handled.
In this role, you will develop and communicate key safety messaging, oversee risk assessments, and ensure safe systems of work are implemented and followed. You will also support fire safety management, from fire risk assessments to drills, training and follow‑up actions, and help maintain robust inspection processes across the Resort.
As a key Health and Safety site contact you will lead Health and Safety forums, answer queries, and support managers in day‑to‑day operational safety. You will understand and apply safety legislation pragmatically, assist with guest safety investigations, and provide safety input during the build and launch of new guest experiences. As the resort representative for Health and Safety compliance you will build excellent stakeholder relationships across all departments, with the ultimate goal of keeping our guests and staff safe which they enjoy their visit with us!
