What you'll bring to the team

We’re looking for a Global Project Manager to join Merlin’s Magic Wand and help deliver truly magical spaces for children facing serious illness, disability or adversity.

If you’re an organised, driven project professional who wants their work to have real meaning, this is a role where what you do genuinely matters. You’ll play a key part in bringing Merlin’s Magic Spaces to life, transforming hospitals, community centres and more into immersive, joy-filled environments inspired by our attractions.

In this varied and collaborative role, you’ll manage projects from concept to completion, working with attractions, charity partners and suppliers across the globe. You’ll ensure every space is delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget, while maintaining the quality, safety and magic that sit at the heart of Merlin’s Magic Wand. You’ll also support the ongoing success of existing projects, keeping them well maintained and continuing to delight the children who use them every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing the delivery of Merlin’s Magic Spaces projects, ensuring they are completed on time, on budget and to a high standard
  • Working closely with attractions, charity partners and suppliers to bring each project to life
  • Supporting the planning and execution of new projects within the global pipeline
  • Overseeing repair and maintenance schedules to ensure existing spaces remain safe, high quality and on brand
  • Acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates and guidance throughout each project
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards across all project phases
  • Supporting continuous improvement of processes, driving efficiency and innovation

This is a full-time, permanent role, based in London with a flexible hybrid working pattern and opportunities to work with global teams across different time zones.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven project management experience, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise, manage budgets and deliver projects under pressure
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider team
  • A genuine passion for making a difference through meaningful work

Benefits

  • 40% off LEGO online
  • 25% discount in our retail shops and restaurants
  • Merlin Magic Pass - giving you free tickets to all our attractions worldwide for you, your family, and friends every year
  • Enjoy the Ride Pass – giving you and 5 others a Merlin annual pass (Gold edition)
  • X2 volunteer days per year
  • Discounted rates at Merlin hotels all over the world
  • Employee pricing up to 55% off cinema tickets
