Senior Rides & Attractions Manager

Location: LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, Windsor, SL4 4AY

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, across a 7-day rota (any 5 days out of 7)

Here at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort our AWESOME Rides & Attractions are enjoyed by families every day, and we are recruiting for a Senior Rides & Attractions Manager to join this great team and steer them to success! The role of Senior Rides & Attractions Manager is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people manager to join our wider Rides & Attractions management team, bringing your own unique and fresh ideas for people motivation and management to the table.

You will have the chance to review our existing processes and drive best practice in health and safety standards (including a strong focus on compliance), implement and review ride efficiency and how we can continue to improve our guest ride experience, seek to elevate guest interactions from our front-line guest hosts and their managers, and lead by example to implement positive and professional change to the department.

You’ll be an advocate for creating and maintaining a nurturing environment, empowering friendly guest interaction through fostering a respectful team culture, maintaining high morale within your team, actively managing poor performance and celebrating success. 

As a senior manager you’ll also have the opportunity to build relationships across the wider resort with colleagues at every level, becoming an advocate for the Rides & Attractions Team and a vocal and visible department representative.

• Must be an experienced people manager with a large cohort of direct reports
• Proven experience in creating and implementing people development plans, leading your team to success, and managing poor performance professionally and constructively
• Awareness of HSG-175 is desirable
• Experience with reading and/or writing COSWPs, COSHH Assessments and Risk Assessments is desirable
• A confident and competent communicator when delivering both positive and constructive messaging, comfortable to react professionally to escalated guest feedback or emergency situations if they arise

About the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort

We are looking for a Senior Rides & Attractions Manager to join our AWESOME team at the UK’s favourite children’s theme park; the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is the ultimate destination for families with children age 2-12. The Resort is home to two awesome LEGO themed Hotels and a host of rides, shows and attractions built around the iconic LEGO® brick. This role is based at the Windsor theme park, located in 150 acres of beautiful parkland.
