Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a Head of Strategic Insights to join our Strategy & Insights team on a permanent basis. The role will be based at our London office, with a hybrid element for those looking for more flexibility.

The Head of Strategic Insights will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s global strategy by delivering actionable intelligence that drives executive decision-making. This leader will manage high-impact insights projects, provide strategic advisory to senior leadership, and influence key business initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel in synthesizing market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics into actionable strategies, ensuring the organisation remains ahead in an ever-evolving business landscape.

Key Responsibilities;

🌍 Lead Global Insights Initiatives: Integrate market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive data to guide strategic priorities.
🤝 Collaborate Across Teams: Work with regional and cross-functional teams to consolidate and align insights for a unified global perspective.
📊 Oversee Data & Dashboards: Manage global data sources and dashboards, ensuring integrity and delivering actionable intelligence.
🧠 Advise Senior Leadership: Provide strategic insights and impactful presentations to support executive decision-making.
🚀 Drive Collaboration & Innovation: Embed insights into key business initiatives, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.

• Extensive experience in a senior strategic insight, strategy or consulting role, preferably within a global organisation in the consumer, leisure, entertainment, or retail industry.
• Proven ability to synthesize market and competitor data from multiple sources into strategic recommendations that drive business growth and transformation.
• Strong expertise in strategy projects, executive-level reporting, and high-impact presentations for senior leadership.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with a focus on delivering strategic outcomes.
• Demonstrated success in building and evolving dashboards, tools, and frameworks to support real-time decision-making.
• Advanced degree in business, strategy, data analytics, or a related field is preferred.
