Get ready to come face-to-fin with some of the strangest creatures you’ll ever meet! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Guest focused Retail Team Leader to help create the most inspirational and outstanding visitor experiences at SEA LIFE Birmingham.
You’ll support the Retail Manager with the daily running of the department, as a Duty Manager as well as managing stock, guest complaints and anything that gets in the way of a smooth operation. You’ll also help drive the success of the sales strategy in retail and ensure staff are actively upselling products at every opportunity.
You’ll be responsible for merchandising and display presentation, ensuring that budgeted spends are achieved and general stock management. You will also liaise with vending machine providers, ordering stock and managing the games operations.
As the team leader, you’ll be a role model for the wider team, buddying up with new team members and providing ongoing coaching and training to the team, setting an example of what great sales technique and customer service is.
This is a permanent role, offering full-time hours. Our attraction is open daily, therefore full availability is needed. Hours will include weekends and bank holidays on a roster basis.
