At Merlin Entertainments, we create magical experiences for millions of guests across our global attractions, and we need a visionary leader to supercharge our people’s performance.

We’re looking for an exceptional Head of Supercharging Performance Academy to drive performance by identifying the key knowledge, skills, and behaviours that will make the biggest difference to our colleagues. Your mission? To ensure that our people are performing better in their roles now than they were 12 months ago!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead a Digital-First Learning Revolution – Develop an innovative, cutting-edge curriculum focused on key Power Skills that drive performance at every level of the business.

  • Transform Performance Measurement into Performance Growth – Evolve our current process to not just track performance but actively improve it.

  • Create a Coaching Culture – Embed coaching as a fundamental part of our development strategy.

  • Lead & Inspire – Manage a team of 3 Performance Partners, ensuring they create and deliver impactful digital-first development solutions with a global reach.

  • Stay Ahead of the Curve – Be the knowledge expert in performance effectiveness, bringing thought leadership and next-best practice into everything we do.

  • Collaborate for Impact – Work with Regional Learning Partners to develop tailored solutions that deliver tangible results for our teams in parks, attractions, and offices worldwide.

  • Make Learning Accessible for All – Ensure every colleague, in every attraction, has access to the learning they need to excel and grow their careers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years in Learning/Talent roles, including 3+ years in a specialist leadership role.
  • Expert facilitator with extensive experience delivering learning to senior audiences.
  • Proven success in central/global roles, influencing multiple senior stakeholders with competing demands.
  • Track record of leading large-scale learning initiatives and delivering programs across multiple countries.
  • Strong experience in succession planning and executing successful project plans.

Benefits

We’re growing fast and alongside a fun and friendly environment, we offer a fabulous package and amazing prospects – ideal if you’re already fantastic and want to become even better (our magic can help here).  Benefits include Pension, Life Assurance, discretionary company bonus, 25 days’ holiday and, of course, a Merlin Magic Pass which gives you and your friends and family free admission to all of our attractions worldwide, as well as 25% discount in our retail shops and restaurants and 40% discount on LEGO.
