As one of our Displays Supervisors at SEA LIFE Brighton, you will lead and develop a team of Aquarists, ensuring high standards of animal welfare, husbandry, conservation, and display excellence. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Supervising the daily operations of our displays team, including the health and safety of animals and people.
  • Managing and developing your team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, care, and innovation are met.
  • Collaborating on animal acquisitions, transport, and quarantines, while meeting SEA LIFE standards.
  • Work closely with the Veterinary team to implement and maintain best practices for animal health and well being.
  • Being a key player in animal husbandry and life support system maintenance.
  • Supporting the Curator in project managing new display developments, delivering fresh and exciting experiences for our guests.
  • Maintain meticulous animal management and operational records in compliance with SEA LIFE and Merlin standards, as well as local legislative requirements.
  • Elevating standards to adhere to the British and Irish association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA) requirements.

This is a full-time permanent role with 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays. This role will also include the need to be on call on a rotated basis.
