As an Operations Manager within LEGO Model Production at Merlin Magic Making, you will play a key role in optimising and streamlining the operations framework for model production. You will oversee the intake, prioritisation and execution of 3D LEGO model requests, ensuring effective resource allocation, risk management and financial oversight.

Working across multiple business areas, including MMM Operations, Production Delivery, LEGO Design and Creative, you will drive operational efficiency and ensure the seamless execution of model production. Your leadership will help align production processes with business objectives, ensuring they are strategically sound and financially sustainable.

• Proven experience leading a PMO or operational function in a similar industry.

• Strong expertise in resource management, risk management and project costing.

• Experience in managing pipeline and demand processes, ensuring capacity planning aligns with business needs.

• A track record of delivering business value through effective project delivery.

• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

• Experience in data-driven decision-making, particularly in model production environments.

• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

• Knowledge of project management frameworks and tools (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent).
