Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for a Technician to join our Facilities team!

You will play a key role in maintaining the facilities and equipment across the Resort, whether it’s performing preventative maintenance, responding to breakdown calls, or carrying out repairs, you’ll help ensure a seamless experience for both our visitors and staff.  This is a full-time position, with shifts scheduled between 6:00 am and 10:30 pm on a rotating basis.

As an integral member of the team, you'll ensure all facilities and equipment are kept to the highest standards while adhering to health and safety protocols, helping to ensure our guests have a memorable experience at the Resort.

This is a versatile role, and we welcome a range of skills and experience. We will provide all the training you need to thrive in this position.

• You will have completed a trade-based apprenticeship or hold an HNC/BTEC qualification (or equivalent) in a building trades/services discipline.
• A recognised qualification in woodwork or on-site joinery is preferred.
• A multi-trades background is highly desirable, and a solid understanding of relevant regulations and legislation is expected.
• You should be a people-oriented individual, friendly, and a true team player, comfortable engaging with the public and delivering exceptional customer service.
• The ability to work independently, demonstrating strong decision-making skills, while also thriving in a team setting, is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with both the public and team members.
• A proactive and friendly attitude, with a passion for delivering high-quality service.
