Operations Specialist
Location: LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, Windsor, SL4 4AY
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, across a 7-day rota (any 5 days out of 7) 
Contract Type: Parental cover, until November 2025
 
 
Here at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort our 2025 season is in full swing, and we are recruiting for an Operations Specialist to join our AWESOME Operations Team until November 2025!
 
 
The Operations Specialist is responsible for maintaining and improving operational efficiency by managing systems, vendors, training materials and compliance documentation, leading a team of Operations Associates who will drive high standards of operational performance across the Resort. 
 
 
A key aspect of the role is compliance with health and safety legislation, which the Operations Specialist will champion across the Resort, reviewing and updating our Standard Operating Procedures, Code of Safe Working Practices, and Emergency Action Plans appropriately, alongside driving training and data compliance in accordance with legislation changes. 
 
 
You have the opportunity to work with stakeholders across all departments, Merlin group and external contractors, with the overall goal of keeping our staff and guests safe and ensuring LEGOLAND Windsor is compliant with all relevant policies, procedures, training and audits. 
 
 
This is a fixed term contract, until November 2025

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as an operational manager, ideally in a theme park setting, is essential
• High attention to detail with the ability to maintain detailed and organised records of ride information (training hours, throughputs), employee data, risk assessments, incident reporting and first response
• A proactive and solution-based approach to operational challenges, with the ability to utilise data to analyse trends and rectify recurring issues 
• You will be able to make and maintain stakeholder relationships across the resort, and work closely with external vendors to achieve our shared goals of operational efficiency and exceptional guest satisfaction

About the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort
We are looking for an Operations Specialist to join our AWESOME team at the UK’s favourite children’s theme park; the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is the ultimate destination for families with children age 2-12. The Resort is home to three awesome LEGO themed Hotels and a host of rides, shows and attractions built around the iconic LEGO® brick. This role is based at the Windsor theme park, located in 150 acres of beautiful parkland.
