Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for a Business Support Executive to join our Operations team!

Reporting to the VP Operations, the Business Support Executive will help to deliver resort-wide strategic plans, aligning our actions with our ambitions.

The role will be a key collaborator in the delivery of the Resort operational plans, supporting the Senior Leadership Team and Operational Delivery Team to prepare data and inputs that enable effective decision making and drive forward execution and implementation. 

The Executive will own the calendar for core meetings including Senior Leadership Team meetings, Business Reviews, All-hands and monthly check-ins as well as own the preparation of agenda and pre-read information and record and report on actions for these meetings ensuring action owners take accountability to follow up and close.

They will ensure standards are maintained across the Resort to support accurate recording and adherence to management processes.

Acting as a Community Champion the role will be a point of contact for external stakeholders within the local community including local authority and businesses, residents and schools and colleges.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in a business support, operational support or administration role.
  • Demonstrable skills in stakeholder management, influencing and cross functional working.
  • Confident communicator with experience of interacting at a senior level; able to challenge and question to establish needs and requirements.
  • Proactive with foresight and strong organisational skills.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Takes ownership to solve problems, and approaches challenges positively with a can-do attitude. 
  • Open approach, able to make people feel welcomed and included.
  • Competent in MS packages; Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
