Help Us Shape the Future of Finance at Merlin Entertainments!

We’re on the lookout for a proactive, detail-oriented Finance Functional Analyst to join us on a 12 month FTC to play a key role in our Finance ERP transformation journey. This is a fantastic opportunity to blend your finance expertise and system-savviness to help deliver a game-changing platform across our global business.

If you're a qualified accountant with a strong grip on Business Central and love digging into processes, testing systems, and bringing structure to change — we want to hear from you.

 

You’ll be at the heart of our ERP programme, acting as the vital bridge between our finance teams and technical delivery experts. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Partnering with finance stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements

  • Supporting key design activities, including Chart of Accounts and dimension build

  • Liaising between end users and consultants to ensure seamless solution delivery

  • Leading user acceptance testing (UAT) with tools like Jira to track, shake down, and validate solutions

  • Supporting change impact assessments, training development, and post-go-live transition



Qualifications & Experience

  • Accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS)

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central – especially across AR, AP, GL, FA, Inventory, Bank, Reporting, and Purchase Ordering

  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and finance operations (GAAP/IFRS)

  • Experience supporting ERP implementations and functional testing

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical, process-driven mindset

  • (Bonus points for German language skills!)
