Resource Associate

Location: THORPE PARK Resort, KT16 8PN
Hours: 40 hours per week across all days of the week

The Resource Associate plays a pivotal role within the Planning and Business Support team, ensuring the seamless integration of team members into (insert attraction name). The role involves supporting the People team with effectively identifying variable resourcing requirements and delivering recruitment events, as well as delivering a comprehensive induction process, including effective department training plans.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the People team with recruitment activities, including identifying variable resourcing requirements, raising requisitions, coordinating recruitment events and supporting hiring managers.
  • Track candidate availability and support TA in establishing induction dates based on hiring needs
  • Administer the company’s absence management processes to include managing investigation and disciplinary process related to absence and lateness, with guidance from the People Hub.
  • Develop and maintain structured training plans for frontline team members.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure tailored training needs are met.
  • Deliver engaging and informative site inductions for all new starters. The bulk content of which will be provided centrally but you will ensure the content is site specific for your location.
  • Coordinate Uniform sizing checks, and ad hoc sight testing
  • · Oversee compliance of policies and procedures set forth within the Merlin Entertainments Group Health, Safety and Security Policy.

  • Understand risk assessments and ensure reporting of any new risks as appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in an HR, administrative, or resource coordination role (preferred).
  • Familiarity with onboarding, training, and absence management processes.
  • Experience in recruitment coordination is an advantage.
  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment with an ability to manage conflicting priorities

This role is a full-time role, averaging 40 hours per week. Due to the nature of the business this will include weekends, bank holidays and some late evenings as required.
