As an Accountant, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our finances accurate, timely, and compliant with global standards. You’ll be trusted to embed strong financial controls that protect data integrity and ensure we meet audit and reporting requirements. But this role goes beyond the numbers, you’ll build strong partnerships across our Finance Hub and wider business, becoming the reliable “go-to” for consistent delivery and support. With a continuous improvement mindset, you’ll be encouraged to challenge the status quo, streamline processes, and enhance systems, helping us drive efficiency and deliver excellence across everything we do.

Key responsibilities:
  • Own the month-end close - deliver accurate, timely reporting across multiple international entities.

  • Step up as a leader - supervise accounting activities and support the team when the Senior Accountant is away.

  • Safeguard the numbers - manage balance sheet reconciliations and keep data integrity at the highest standard.

  • Be the problem-solver - partner with stakeholders to resolve queries and keep audits smooth and compliant.

  • Drive improvements - spot opportunities to streamline processes and boost efficiency across the Finance Hub.

  • Make an impact - support the Head of Capital Accounting on exciting projects and initiatives that shape the future of the team.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of shared service centre (SSC) and Record to Report (R2R) processes.
  • Experience leading or contributing to process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder requirements.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership and the ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with confidence engaging at all levels.
  • Ability to develop and support others to achieve high performance.
  • Critical thinking with a focus on risk, controls, and practical solutions.
  • Determination to deliver results and meet agreed timelines.
