As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will deliver both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring every attraction is operating at its best and providing unforgettable experiences for thousands of visitors.

In this hands-on role, no two days are the same. You’ll work across a variety of attractions—from thrilling rollercoasters to family-friendly rides—helping to keep them safe and operational. This role also involves occasional work at heights, offering a unique and thrilling working environment that challenges and rewards your expertise.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Performing routine and emergency mechanical maintenance to ensure ride safety and performance.

  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical faults across a range of complex machinery.

  • Working closely with engineering teams to support continuous improvement and compliance with safety standards.

  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and reporting on equipment condition.

  • Adapting to a flexible schedule that includes weekends, bank holidays, and shift work to meet the operational demands of the resort.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified Mechanical Engineer with strong practical experience in mechanical maintenance.

  • Ideally apprenticeship-trained, holding a Level 3 engineering qualification or an equivalent certification.

  • Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with hands-on exposure to mechanical systems.

  • Good working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is highly desirable.

  • Flexibility with working hours and the ability to respond to the dynamic needs of a busy Resort.

  • Full, clean UK driving licence is essential.

The role is full time, permanent, averaging 40 hours per week and will include weekends and bank holidays as required.

 

Due to the nature of this role, if selected for an interview you will be require to provide original copies of all relevant qualification certificates.
