Applications close: Sunday 31st August 17:00

At Merlin Entertainments, we create magical experiences for millions of guests every year across some of the world’s most iconic attractions – from LEGOLAND® and Madame Tussauds to SEA LIFE and the London Eye. Behind the scenes, our Finance teams play a vital role in making this possible, turning numbers into insights that help shape decisions across the business.

As Junior Finance Business Partner – Technical Services, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Finance Business Partner to drive performance across our global Technical Services function. From analysing data and preparing reports to working directly with stakeholders, you’ll be right at the heart of decision-making, helping us deliver great guest experiences around the world.

This role isn’t just about the numbers. Yes, cost discipline is important, but what really makes the difference is the insight you bring, the processes you improve, and the value you add by connecting teams – from our attractions to our Global Engineering and Operational Excellence teams. You’ll help ensure best practice, provide clarity in reporting, and support global initiatives that keep Merlin at the top of its game.

This role can be based at any UK attraction or office on a hybrid basis.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and reports

  • Analysing performance and identifying key drivers behind the numbers

  • Working with non-finance colleagues to provide insights that shape smarter decisions

  • Preparing clear reports and presentations for senior leadership

  • Supporting global engineering initiatives with valuable data and analysis

  • Helping to improve processes and systems, driving efficiency and consistency

Qualifications & Experience

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar (or equivalent experience)

  • Some finance experience or an internship, ideally with exposure to analysis or business partnering

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into meaningful insights

  • Confident communication skills to work with stakeholders across the business

  • Proficiency in Excel (and ideally other financial systems)

  • A proactive, organised approach – able to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment

Benefits

We’re growing fast and alongside a fun and friendly environment, we offer a fabulous package and amazing prospects – ideal if you’re already fantastic and want to become even better (our magic can help here). Benefits include Pension, Life Assurance, discretionary company bonus, 33 days’ holiday including bank holidays, a Merlin Magic Pass which gives you and your friends and family free admission to all of our attractions worldwide, an Enjoy the Ride pass which entitles you and 5 loved ones unlimited entry into your regional attractions, 25% discount in our retail shops and restaurants and 40% discount on LEGO, plus lots more!
